Common questions
The wheel won't spin.
You need at least two players added before the wheel will accept a tap. Add a second player and the center of the wheel will glow gold — that's your cue to spin.
I want to pick a different game mode.
Tap the status banner at the very top of the screen. It toggles between "The Hit" (one spin, one verdict) and "Final Cut" (elimination, round by round).
How do I reset the game after a winner?
Press and hold the Creditorious logo at the center of the wheel for one second — a gold ring fills while you hold. The game resets with the same players. To remove a single player instead, press and hold their card on the wheel.
The recording didn't save.
Recording starts automatically with each spin and the clip is offered in "Share the Verdict" when the round ends — it saves to your Photos only when you tap "Save Video to Photos" there. If saving fails, check iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Creditorious.
Can I add my own card design?
Custom uploads aren't supported — but you can do something better: scan your real card. Photograph it once in the app and it's straightened, polished, and set into the wheel as that player's card, with the number automatically blurred. Otherwise, choose from the house collection of over fifty original designs.
Is my card or my data ever saved?
No. Nothing leaves the phone — there are no accounts, no servers, and no tracking. A scanned card lives only in the app's memory for the current game and is gone when the game resets; the card number is blurred before it ever appears anywhere. Recorded clips are saved only when you choose to share or save them. Creditorious keeps no record of who paid.
How do I change my spin time?
The pitch slider in the top-left of the wheel lets you choose between Quick (5s), Normal (10s), and Dramatic (15s). Tap any of the three positions, or drag the slider knob.
Does Creditorious work for real money?
No. Creditorious is purely a decision-making app. It picks who pays — actually settling the bill is up to you and your friends, however you normally do that.
I have a feature request.
Send it to [email protected] — tell us what you want to do, what would make it feel right, and we'll see what we can do.
Reporting an issue
If something's broken, send us:
- The iPhone model you're using (Settings → General → About → Model Name)
- Your iOS version
- A short description of what you were trying to do
- If possible, a screenshot or screen recording of the issue
That information makes it dramatically faster for us to reproduce the problem and fix it.
